Day 2 - Just One of Those Days I guess
Day 2 - Long Day, Still Standing
Woke up a little later than I wanted to.
Finished my daily ritual.
The first thing I did was try again to get a better compute instance. Yesterday was a mess, some region unavailability and all that bullshit.
Found a workaround today and finally got it provisioned. Set it up. Just need to actually use it now. No point spinning things up and letting them sit idle.
Felt like doing Stacks today. Specifically, Monotonic Stacks.
Worked on:
- 496. Next Greater Element I (easy)
- 503. Next Greater Element II
- Asteroid Collision
Caught up with a friend and followed the India vs England Test match.
First match after Virat Kohli’s Test retirement, so that felt weird.
We also debugged a bunch of stuff that he built for the hackathon. Mostly brainstorming and fixing bugs. Took over 3 hours, but made good progress. The deadline’s almost approaching as well. He did all of the work, but happy to help with documentation and stuff.
Then I showered and got ready for college. Had a seminar session on campus. It got pretty late.
Long commute after that because had to come to my sister’s place.
Honestly, not super productive today. Spent over 4 hours just commuting, and the rest of the day was just kind of packed. Starving. Super tired, to be honest.
Still, it wasn’t a bad day. It was just a busy one.
Even on days like this, I’m still pumped to learn and build in the coming days.
Not trying to stress myself too much.
Let’s just keep moving.
